Set List | Visual Set List | Set Highlights | New Archetypes
With the arrival of Lost Origin this September, we’ll have a handful of new deck archetypes joining the fray. As always, some deck archetypes are better than others—some are meme tier and some are merely playable, fun decks without much competitive promise. Lists below are very rough drafts and are intended as a starting place for testing, not as tournament-ready deck lists. Consider creating and using proxies to test cards you don’t already own prior to making any purchases.
Hisuian Electrode V
Illus. 5ban Graphics
BASIC STRATEGY
Using a combination of draw options, like Bibarel’s Industrious Incisors ability, and search options, like Peony, seek out cards that ensure Hisuian Electrode will be afflicted by two or more Special Conditions when attacking with its Tantrum Blast attack, which does 100 damage for each Special Condition on Hisuian Electrode V. Apply Special Conditions with Spicy Seasoned Curry and Parasect’s Lethargy Spores Ability, then use Windup Arm to ensure that Hisuian Electrode V can attack, even while affected by the Asleep Special Condition.
KEY CARDS
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
Canceling Cologne to help with the Miltank matchup.
